Wilgepark – Corner of Smith & Herholdt Street

Wilgepark - Corner of Smith & Herholdt street
Residents of Wilgepark have asked the municipality to clean the area, but to no avail. Our team jumped in and started to pick up the rubbish lying on the corner. Close to 80 bags of rubbish has been removed today. We urge residents to take better care of their surroundings.

Maintenance Spotlight – Urgent Repairs

Various municipal drains were once again blocked. Many of these blockages caused sewage to spill into residents’ yards and onto school premises. It’s unacceptable that residents have to wait more than three weeks for a municipal team to assist. Private plumbers were called in to help with a long list of issues requiring urgent attention.

The team did an amazing job clearing the area. Thank you to all our contributing members; without your support, this would not be possible. Gutter and storm drain cleanup

This has become quite a task as almost every street corner has been left to be overgrown and unkept, making it very difficult for rainwater to flow away efficiently. Our team also cleared some rubbish that was dumped. By becoming a HIT member, you enable us to continue cleaning up our beautiful town. Thank you to all our current contributing members; without you, this would not be possible.
